D.I.T. in Kevin Street, Dublin recently took delivery of a purpose-built water chilling unit for use in their process engineering laboratories.
The unit consists of a modified Junior beer cooler, equipped with our powerful patented KCS-10 pump to pump the ice water around the laboratory. The unit has on-board refrigeration and control panel with digital temperature readout.
The cooler will be used to supply ice water as a coolant for the reaction experiments that are undertaken by students in the lab. The experiments are dual purpose: The electronic engineering students are interested in the control aspect of the system, whereas the process engineering students are interested in the reaction itself.
