Dublin Institute of Technology take delivery of their new water chiller

D.I.T. in Kevin Street, Dublin recently took delivery of a purpose-built water chilling unit for use in their process engineering laboratories.

The unit consists of a modified Junior beer cooler, equipped with our powerful patented KCS-10 pump to pump the ice water around the laboratory. The unit has on-board refrigeration and control panel with digital temperature readout.

The cooler will be used to supply ice water as a coolant for the reaction experiments that are undertaken by students in the lab. The experiments are dual purpose: The electronic engineering students are interested in the control aspect of the system, whereas the process engineering students are interested in the reaction itself.

Stainless Steel Sliding Gear - Now made in Ireland!

Kilkenny Cooling Systems is proud to announce its latest innovation: Stainless Steel Sliding Gear.

The gear was designed and is fully manufactured in our plant in Kilkenny from parts which we laser-cut from stainless steel and form on our CNC brake press.

This gear is made fully from high quality heavy-duty stainless steel. It has a smooth, polished finish for food safety and really looks the part!

And not only that, but aside from the fact that it is tougher and looks nicer than our competitors' imported sliding gear, it is also cheaper because we manufacture it ourselves, cutting out the middle man.

So please consider Kilkenny Cooling Systems heavy-duty sliding gear on your next order.
